More than three decades in finance

Experience built around
helping Texans move forward.

Rudy Lozano combines lending, underwriting, operations, real estate, and investment-property experience to make complicated financing decisions easier to understand.

A lending career shaped by every side of the transaction

Programs change. Good guidance remains personal.

Rudy’s connection to real estate began in 1990, when he purchased his first investment property in Del Rio at age 18 with his father. That early experience taught him that ownership can change a family’s financial direction—and that the right guidance matters long before the closing table.

He entered the finance industry in 1993 while completing college and earned a bachelor’s degree in business from Sul Ross State University in 1994 after studying education at Texas State University. The combination of finance and education continues to shape his approach today: understand the numbers, explain the choices clearly, and help each client make an informed decision.

“Our job is to keep improving the process, the systems, and the programs we use—so more families have a practical path to homeownership.”

The experience behind the advice

A career built from operations outward.

Rudy’s background goes beyond sales. It includes underwriting, mortgage operations, complex closings, property disposition, and real estate brokerage.

Transitioned into mortgage operations after purchasing his first home, working with FHA, VA, conventional, and home-equity transactions while serving first-time buyers and veterans.

HUD

Complex Texas closings

Served as operations manager with longtime HUD closing agent and San Antonio real estate attorney Michael H. Casey, coordinating foreclosed-property transactions throughout Texas for HUD and major banks.

Why that history matters to borrowers

Lending knowledge that connects the details.
